Caffeine is perhaps the most popular drug in the world. It is a white substance, bitter, similar to glass that is found in coffee, tea, cocoa and cola. It is also found in some products such as aspirin, cough medicines and cold medicines sold over the counter, soft drinks, diet pills and some drugs from the “street”.

When a person drinks two cups of coffee’s effects begin approximately 15-30 minutes. You can increase metabolism, body temperature and blood pressure, also contained an increased production of urine, higher levels of blood sugar, hand tremors, loss of coordination, loss of appetite and sleep late. With very high doses can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, tremors, headaches and nervousness. Tolerance to caffeine (the need for higher doses to achieve the same effect) may occur with consumption of more than 500-600 milligrams of caffeine per day, equivalent to 4-6 cups of coffee.
